We celebrate her life at the funeral this coming Sunday. And one of my friends, Marla McGeorge made a Facebook event called "Pink and Purple for Maggie Hinrichs."
Maggie had said one time that whenever she had a funeral everyone had to wear pink and purple.
Even if you won't be with us, if you feel led you two can wear a bit of pink or purple or both Sunday -- you guys could just have a little ribbon or whatever. Don't think it has to be a bunch. Maggie's life was a miracle. You can read her obituary here: Maggie.
And if you'd like the event if you can, that would be so neat. My 17 year old son is getting a kick out of it -- watching the numbers. Here's the link to that: Maggie's Facebook event.
My Magdalena changed my life forever when I first saw her little doll face on the computer. I will never been the same Sweet Maggie. And when I get to heaven (after I give you a piece of mind for going before me) you and I are going to leap and dance and sing together. We can even sit on Jesus' lap together and laugh and smile and be so happy! Thank you Maggie for letting me be your mama for nine years. Thank you.
