Yet, in our differences lie a lot of similarities.
No matter who you are, you deal with inconveniences, lost items, tiny frustrations (or big ones); days that go great and days that don't; we have an abundance in some things and not so much in other things. We have dreams or we used to have dreams. We do things daily because they need getting done.
Do you think it is all beautiful?
Do you think your daily waking times, the things you face day in and day out -- do you think all of it together is beautiful?
It's a not a word we use to describe daily life usually.
It's not a word that we probably put to our challenges and struggles.
But today, let's try to -- let's try to put this word to the things we deal with constantly -- the life lessons God gives us that seem to deal with the same things over and over. And let's put this word on our life in general. Our lives are beautiful.
These thoughts came up because I read Psalm 16:5-6 today:
"The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; Thou dost support my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me."
I had to ask myself, do I think the heritage God has given me, my daily life, all that it entails, is beautiful?
A heritage entails how you live your life, customs, rules, what you have; everything that has been given to you.
Everything in our lives has been given to us by God.
Do we find it beautiful?
What do you find challenging in your life?
That challenge is beautiful.
Why?
Because in that challenge, to get through really well, you need to put your eyes on God, let Him Work it all out.
And if there is something that is constantly like this in your life, that is so from God -- He's training you to keep your eyes on Him. We live in a world that is physical, but we are not just physical beings. We have a soul. We have a spirit. In the unseen realm is where Truth resides.
"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
God "calls into being that which does not exist." Romans 4:17c
And (Jesus) is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." Colossians 1:17
God is training you to see where True Reality lies and to live by that rather than what you can see physically.
That is beautiful.
Your life is indeed beautiful.
So, so beautiful.
Think on that.
