Read those verses again. If you want to know God's will for your life, practice what these verses say. God's will is for us to rejoice in Him always; be at peace (meaning rest in Him...look at John 15); don't be anxious; find peace in God.
Most of us like to DO for God, but it is more important to BE with God. God's priority is His relationship with You, not what you are doing for Him.
I probably read too many books and one day I am going to write some more, but God has given us so much wisdom through His children already. I don't know if I can add to it. I want to quote Blackaby again from the Experiencing God study. This is from page 75 of the 2005 edition:
If you do not have clear instructions from God in a matter, pray and wait . . . Depend on God's timing. His timing is always right and best. Don't get in a hurry. He may be withholding directions to cause you to seek Him more intently. Don't try to skip over the relationship to get on with doing.
