Do you hear that? What a great thought. Before I am gone all day today I had to put this up. This truly touched me. In everything we are to think within ourselves that in this (whatever this is) we are servants of God. We are there to do His bidding. We are there to shine for Him. We are there to let Him work through us.
This means in everything all the time.
Paul goes on to give some examples:
in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, in beatings, in imprisionments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger, in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love, in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left, by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true; as unknown yet well-known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death, as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things. 2 Corinthians 6:4b-10
That about covers all situations. Think on this. If you realize you are a servant of God in a situation, how much different will you approach it (if nothing else, inwardly)? This is such a freeing thing. Freedom is found in living for God! Freedom is found in Him!
