And at times it is loud!
Very loud!
And I, at age 45, am often louder than all the kids, sometimes all the kids put together. I love being able to use my lungs to their capacity to praise The Lord and have fun.
But shouting isn't required to praise The Lord with all you've got.
The above picture is what I am looking at as I write this blog on my porch. It is the sky on the east side of our house.
Iit is beautiful to me. We've needed rain for a while. It's been so hot. With this sky has come a sweet cool breeze and relief, respite from the hot summer sun.
I praise God for this.
I am praising God as deep as I do when I shout.
And the earth is shouting with me.
"Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who h made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name. For the LORD is good; His loving kindness is everlasting, And His faithfulness to all generations." Psalm 100
