Great verse! I wondered about the songs of deliverance part. I wondered did this mean angels were singing around me, or what....I looked this up and found out the word "songs" can also be replaced with "shouts."
Shouts of deliverance -- lots of them -- can surround us. Historically, God's people shouted right before rushing into battle. It was a war cry. Also, the shouts were shouts of joy in reponse to God's deliverance expressing victory over the enemy (this is from the Hebrew definition of the word in a Bible we have at home).
So think about this in your own life. You are surrounded with shouts of deliverance of victory before and after a battle. This life is a war between good and evil. Good (God) has already one but we still have battles in our lives we have to trust Him for. We have fight with our spiritual battle gear (see Ephesians 6). We will do much better in battle if we remember God already has the victory. Don't fight on your own. Use God's strength, God's wisdom, God's timing, God's everything.
And Shout! Shout the victory! Shout before and after. Praising God brings power.
