I'm going to share a practice I've been doing in my prayer life I call trigger praying. Maybe it can help someone.
I have several prayer lists and I started finding myself not praying as much as I wanted to. When I make the lists I have every intention of praying, but my time with God gets cut short or life is just so busy.
So, what I do is I use triggers throughout the day to remind me to pray. For me it is when I switch activities. When I sit down to the computer I pray. When I do the dishes I have tons of time to pray. When I clean, when I fold clothes, when I start anything different I use that to remind me to pray.
It might sound silly but it works.
Maybe it could work for you too in some way. Think about it. Prayer is one of our biggest weapons against the enemy and against everything that wants to tear us apart and away from God.
