Do you ever feel lost in the brain?
I know I must not be alone. One of the enemy's great tactics is to make us believe I am the only one who ever feels this way. Or, we are told that we are worse than anyone else, no one has had these feelings, no one could understand, we are alone.
When we feel alone and overwhelmed, we are vulnerable. And it is up to us to take a step in the right direction -- when you feel this way minister the Word to your soul and spirit. It is healing. Sometimes it is immediate. Other times it takes a while to soak in.
Why do we get these feelings? This feeling of lostness?
Sometimes it is just rogue emotions hitting you in the brain -- ignore those. Or, speak to them and tell them to go away, tell them you aren't going to give into them.
Sometimes it is the enemy's attack.
I think that is what it is for me right now. I had a great day Wednesday. I am preparing for The BBC (The Blunt Bible Club) next week for elementary students. I (and others) have been praying for this for a while. It has potential to really be used by God in great ways. Wednesday I had wonderful fellowship -- just a great, great day.
If it is the enemy's attack this is probably a very good sign -- meaning he sees the potential to for God to work and he always wants to stop God's work.
So, I am telling him to flee and he will. He has to when I use Jesus' name.
Ephesians 6:10-17 tells you about your spiritual armor -- that stuff is real. The unseen realm is more real than this realm we live in.....
(I am not a doctor -- sometimes the yucky feelings need to be addressed by a medical professional. They can be tied to physical symptoms or mental symptoms.....if you aren't sure seek someone you trust...but trying the two I mention won't hurt)
