"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." Philippians 4:8
Perverse means corrupt which means evil, rotten and in verb form make evil.
These verses spoke to me today because I guess this morning I've been having some self-reflection kind of moments. What do I really want? What do you really want?
What brings you joy?
What can you do (some kind of task or whatnot) that, when you're busy with it, you know it is bigger than yourself? You know you are tied to the Creator, that He is working through you.
That is one of the things God created you to do. Do it as often as possible. When you think of goals for your life, consider building them around this --- whatever God created you to do. He will be glorified in it. And you will have such joy. Don't do it for the money or for any other reason than to be in relationship with God.
Am I just writing a bunch of nonsense? I hope not. I understand but sometimes what I want to convey doesn't come out right the first time (and i don't have time for a second time this morning-- my almost 13 year old and I are traveling to the eastern part of our state to get his new wheelchair! It is quite exciting to get a new set of wheels).
