God doesn't condemn and God is Truth. God knows exactly what is real and what isn't.
"There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1
If you are being condemned put that voice in its place.
Jesus Calling says today, "Don't listen to those voices; challenge them with My Word."
How do you do that?
You get into the Bible and find verses to combat what you hear about yourself.
If you hear something like, "You're ugly."
Tell that voice, "You're wrong! God doesn't make ugly. I was fearfully and wonderfully made" (that's from Psalm 139:14)
If you hear something like, "You're worthless."
Tell that voice, "I'm priceless. Jesus died for me (check out John 3:16). God wouldn't send His Son to death for someone who is worthless."
If you hear something like, "You're a loser."
Tell the voice, "God is working in me. I am not a loser for He who began a good work in (me) will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." (from Philippians 1:6).
This is how you fight the angry and negative and condemning voices. You fight them with the Word of God. And don't worry -- if you don't know where to look in the Bible for a verse, get a concordance or just look it up online. There are so many Bible resources available to us on the internet. Search something like, "A Bible verse about Beauty" or "A Bible verse about my significance."
Search for the verse you need.
This is what God wants us to do with the Word. That's why it is called The Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). It will divide the truth from the lies. It will destroy the wickedness that wants to destroy you.
Don't live defeated. Don't live like a victim. Living undefeated doesn't mean you won't have challenges and it doesn't mean everything will go your way. It means you are letting God rule in your life. It means you are encouraged by His Word. And when things don't go the way you had hoped you can rest in Him knowing He's in charge. He knows what's best and He's fighting on your behalf.
