Our purpose, your purpose is to bear fruit.
OK, but ....
How?
For a fruit tree to bear fruit in the best way possible it needs to to be planted in the ground appropriate for the kind of fruit tree it is.
Still, this probably doesn't give you an idea what your specific purpose is unless you already know. Yesterday I read a devotional by Preacher Tony Evans that is so good.
He writes, "When you live out your purpose, you will live with passion. One of the ways you can recognize your purpose is that it will enflame you, ignite you, and stir your heart. God's purpose for you isn't some dull empty thing that makes you dread getting up in the morning. It is the fire in your soul."
Isn't that great!
Think about what does this for you and you will have an idea what direction to go into. God will use us all in all different walks of life. He can use anything. If dance is your passion then dance. If numbers are your passion God will use numbers in some way through you to touch people.
God is so creative. He has no limits to what He can use to bring people into His kingdom. That is what He wants to do through you in the way that uses who He created you to be in the most incredible light.
Seek Him. He'll give you wisdom (He mentions this in James 1).
