You see the faults of that one person in your life.
You do.
And you've prayed that God would change that person. Maybe if he would do ___________ differently all would be well. If she didn't do ________________ you'd love to hang out with her.
We all have a person like this in our lives. And as I wrote back on April 20, that person who is so hard for you to love is probably the one who needs your love the most.
That doesn't make it easier.
But I can tell you what does.
I speak from personal experience.
I had a problem with a certain person (and no, it isn't you). I prayed and prayed. I asked God to love this person through me. I asked God to help us enjoy each other.
I still struggled and struggled and struggled. I tried so hard to love that I probably was sweating blood inside.
I shared my struggle with someone else. I hadn't before this because I was ashamed of myself -- that I was having such a hard time loving another person. The friend I shared my burden with said she'd pray for me. She didn't judge. She just prayed.
And I'm in a new place within in regard to this situation. It's like 100% better! And because I am more relaxed, better able to just allow this person freedom this person too is responding in a better way to me. I know way down deep this is God's hand in the situation. I have a ways to go but God's getting me there.
So, yes, you are probably right about all the faults of that one person, but you gotta love that person. And God will help. Just tell a friend. Confess your need to have God's love for this person. Ask your friend to pray and keep praying.
And then watch God work.
Because He will.
