Author and writer Michael K. Reynolds got me thinking today -- about how amazing it is when one of my kids just wants to hang out with me.
I can say this does happen sometimes for me -- not as much as I'd like. But it does happen.
Laughing with my kids is such a joy.
And when they hear me laugh they laugh even harder (they refer to my laugh as a witch's cackle).
(My Maggie hung out with me a lot just to hang out with me. Though she didn't make it to age 12 on this earth, I tell you, I probably had more "chats" with her than many moms do with their kids their lives....sorry....this was a tangent....)
Mr. Reynolds writes, " Our children can be master manipulators and they can make us feel a bit…well, used. But then again, they’re kids.
Which got me thinking. Isn’t this the same way I am approaching my relationship with God the Father?"

God wants to spend time with me and you.
He just wants to hang out.
He loves your smile.
He loves your laugh.
He loves you.
Zephaniah 3:17 says,
“The Lord your God is in your midst,
A ]victorious warrior.
He will exult over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy."
He's crazy about you.
