Even in Jesus' physical presence, people were criticizing this woman's act of worship.
Why do we do this? Why do we criticize other believers who are seeking God, who are serving Him, who are loving Him as best they can? Why do we judge each other?
Often, people judge those who worship differently than they do.
Oh, we are so off the mark when we do this.
Read those verses again . . .
When you worship, worship with your whole heart. And leave the results to God. If the woman was criticized when Jesus was sitting there, there is a good chance we may get criticized at times by others when we pour out our hearts in worship.
If you are, let it go. Don't give those kind of criticisms a second thought. Just worship. God will deal with those who criticize. If they are seeking God He will work in their hearts.
And if you catch yourself criticizing another Believer (even a Believer in the public realm - - a well-known one), stop and ask God to search your heart. Find out why you are doing this. Then, let God change you.
