You've done it.
We all have asked the question, What does God want me to do?
What is God's will?
We know He has plans.
We know we are part of those plans.
And if we're living for Him we want to do what He wants us to do.
What if right now you knew exactly what God wanted you to do?
What if I could tell you something Jesus is asking you and me to do right now?
And what if it was something that you could do anywhere -- an action you can do at the office, at home, in a big city, in the country; among the poor, among the wealthy..... absolutely anywhere and at anytime?
Are you ready?
Here it is:
"Then [Jesus] said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.'" Matthew 9:37-38
That's it.
But it is a profound "it."
He said this right after we are told in verse 36 "And seeing the multitudes, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd."
That describes much of the population in the world. It probably describes much of the population in our communities.
Let's make Jesus happy. Let's pray for workers. As we pray He will give us His compassion for the people around us if we don't have it yet. It is His will for us to have it.
