He said, "The key is to do what (God) tells you to do right now to get in His presence . . . If you use the key to get where He wants you to go, (you) will come into His presence . . . When God tells you to do something you have to do it the way He tells you how to do it."
And finally, "Faith is believing God will do what He said He would do."
These are thoughts that keep running through my head. Thank you Lord.
Though it might not seem it relates to the following thoughts, I think it does. I was reading in Numbers 9 today. Numbers 9:16 says, "So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it (the tabernacle) by day and (have) the appearance of fire by night."
I looked up cloud in the Hebrew language. One thing it said was, "In the ancient world, clouds were often seen as the pedestal or shroud of the divine presence."
When did we lose this kind of thinking? When I feel the wind I remember it came from God and I tell God I love him. Maybe when we see clouds we ought to think about God being present. He put them in the sky. Maybe our faith needs to be a bit more anchored in the physical realm somehow.
IMaybe if we remembered every thing we encounter in this world was put there by God our faith would increase. I'm going ot do some more thinking.
Thanks for visiting. J.H.
