Did you catch that? You were called to inherit a blessing. And you can get that blessing every second of the day if you like. Live in Him, rest in Him, have all your actions, all your decisions, all your thoughts rooted in Him.
If someone insults you or does evil to you in some way, and it wasn't because you did something first to them, it very likely isn't about you at all. It is very likely they are filled full of some negative emotion, like anger or bitterness or despair, and they are just using you as a target for getting some of this junk out. Very likely they don't realize they are doing this.
When someone insults you or hurts you it is an opportunity to pray for them. It is a signal from God that they need your prayers desperately. The situation is so desperate that God allowed them to hurt His kid for the greater good of saving them from whatever is consuming them.
This doesn't mean you let people walk all over you. You confront graciously. You ask the right questions. You uncover what God calls you to uncover. This is the kind of situation that must be bathed in prayer. Do not assume just because you see something you should say something. But don't assume that you should stay silent either.
Have a glorious day. Take time to comment. Let me know what you're thinking.
