You can change someone's world today in ways no one else can.
And it is in your power to choose to do this or not.
How?
Who?
Why?
And what am I talking about?
Everyone has people who look up to them.
Everyone has someone who really wants that person's approval.
Do you have people who work for you?
People who you are in charge of in some way?
People you teach?
People you are responsible for?
Some possibilities are:
* Employees
* Children (including adult children)
* Spouses
* Friends
* Strangers (who are in awe of you for some reason)
* Students
* And who ever else you can think of
These are the people who need your attention, your specific attention.
Notice what they are doing and tell them you notice.
If they are trying, if they are doing a good job, if they've improved, speak to them about it.
Encourage them.
You have the power to make their worlds change with your words of encouragement.
Use this power.
And use it wisely.
For if our words of encouragement can affect someone so much, critical words can do tons of damage.
That old saying is so often true: If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.
Change someone's world today. What you reap you will sow. If you need encouragement encourage someone else.
"So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. Behold, how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!" James 3:5
"Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, just as you also are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11
