What would they be like -- Storehouses of snow in heaven?
Just a few days ago I was figuring out the best grass seed mix to plant in my presently very ugly and junky side yard.
Today, we have a blizzard that is supposed to be around all day today and into tomorrow. I am so thankful for my furnace and the electricity staying on. If Maggie were here she'd hate this storm. There's a bunch of ice underneath it -- our deck right outside our front door is covered in ice. She would slip for sure if she stepped on it. She is no longer slipping in heaven. She is no longer having to hate the winter.
Maybe God showed her the storehouses? To see the beauty of winter?
"From the breath of God ice is made" Job 37:10a
"Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And caused the dawn to know its place" Job 37:12
There are some incredible descriptions of creation in the book of Job. The power of storms shows us a glimpse of the Almighty's power.
"do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?" Job 40:9
"I know that Thou (oh God) canst do all things, And that no purpose of Thine can be thwarted." Job 42:2
Amen!
I pray you realize God and His purposes in your life today. I pray you will see His movements, His presence and His touch in all you deal with today.
God is good and He is good all the time.
No matter what happens He is always, always good and will get you through if you lean on Him. He eagerly waits for you to trust in Him.
