Walking takes effort. Every step is a conscious choice. Continuous walking is a constant decision on the part of the walker. No one can make that decision for you.
When I was a toddler, I chose not to start walking until I was 18 months old (according to my mom). She said when she'd try and stand me up on my feet I'd stick my legs out straight in front of me. I refused to walk. There was nothing wrong with me. I wasn't behind in my development. I was right on target except that I just didn't feel like walking. When I finally walked it was my decision, not my mom's, not my dad's, no one's but mine.
Walking with God daily means choosing in each moment to put Him first, to seek Him first before all else. And it means to believe He is there working on our behalf choosing what is best for us and will reward those of us who seek Him. It also means we remember He is a good God and will not withhold anything just because He can. He loves us and always does the very best for each of us.
Walk with God today. Talk to Him as you go about your day. People might think you're talking to yourself. That's okay. If they ask you can tell them you were talking to Jesus. If they don't, then they don't
