Later, Tattoo had second thoughts and told Mr. Roark he had to do what was best for the baby. He said, "I can give him all sorts of material things, but I can't give him a mother or brothers and sisters."
It was touching, and it was also the truth. Sadly, you won't hear that kind of statement on TV shows or in movies today because it goes against WOKE thought. How did we get to where we are today?
I remember watching the show as a kid. It always came after Love Boat on Saturday nights. I thought it would be so cool to go to Fantasy Island and have a fantasy granted. I don't know what mine would have been, but if I could have one today, I would want to see a glimpse of heaven. I'd want to see Maggie, our daughter, enjoying herself in heaven. I'd want to see Jesus face-to-face. I'd want memories of heaven that I could share with others. Yet, mere words from my mouth would not be able to convey its beauty and love. So, maybe what the Bible tells us about heaven is enough. If we needed to know more, God would make sure we knew more.
What are you thinking about these days? A friend sent me and Hawken friendship bracelets and some heart stickers for Valentine's Day (and two heart ornaments I hung on some house plants). Her thoughtfulness makes me feel loved!
I guess that is it. I hope you go to church soon. Jesus has something to say to you there. Watching it online is not a substitute. It really isn't. You need fellowship with other Believers. And they need to see you.
You are loved!
