Maybe God is using it has a refining tool. Forget the maybe -- He is using it as a refining tool.
God can change life instantly. If He allows something to hang on in your life, that something is being used by Him to do His work in you or your situation or in others (or in all three).
We gotta trust Him even with these tiresome situations. They are not beyond His control. In fact, they are in His control. We can't let these kinds of things get us down. Knowing God is using them means we can actually rejoice in them!
English Writer and Theologian Thomas Fuller was the one who wrote, "It is always darkest before the dawn."
Fuller lived in the 1600s and a quick internet search says he was one of the first English writers able to live on the earnings he got from his writings (something I aspire to).
We ought not to get bogged down in daily troubles. Those are some of the thorns Jesus mentions in the Parable of the Sower.
"And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful." Matthew 13:22
The Book of Mark states it like this, "and the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful."
God's got this (whatever this is).
