I have read some incredible posts on this weekend's main events!
Wow.
So I'm going to link them for you. They are worth your time. Seriously.
The first one was written by Lori Stanely Roeleveld and called What a Bloody Mess We've Made.
The second was written by Laura Droege (Which I found via Tim Fall's blog) and is some of her thoughts from a Chemo room. Beautiful.
Take time this weekend, today and/or tomorrow, to think what Jesus has done. He conquered death and sin so they do not have to be masters over us.
Yes, we still die -- I know that personally. I saw my little girl die last year. A dear friend of mine died in 2012. Grandparents have died. My oldest brother died in 2003.
Death still comes but IT ISN'T THE END. Death doesn't have the final word when we know Jesus! I know I will see my loved ones again in heaven. Maggie I know is having a grand time with Jesus right now.
Jesus came to set us free. If you have the Son you have been made free indeed!
If you don't have the Son you aren't free -- but you can have him in a second. Just ask Him to be part of your life. He wants to. Desperately He wants to! He died for that chance!
