Franklin Graham, president, samaritan's purse
Who doesn't like to give a gift? Many, if not all, of the children who receive one of these shoeboxes have never received a Christmas present.
My kids and I packed a couple this year. It is fun for all of us. We included school supplies, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste; small toys, hard candy, crayons....stuff a kid will love.
Wherever you are there is a shoebox drop off center. If you go to church maybe your church is connected to one. If you don't go to church, you can still do a Shoe box gift. Find the collection center in your area. If you click on the "build-a-box" picture you will be taken to the Samaritan's Purse Website. It will give you the details of what and what not to pack. You will change a child's life! How exciting.
You can include a letter and picture too. Maybe you will hear from the child who gets your gift.

"Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with who there is no variation, or shifting shadow." James 1:17
If you can't afford to pack a shoebox by yourself get a few of your friends and pack one together.
We have so much we can share with others. These gifts will go to over 100 different countries. Wow...
You can even follow your box around the world if you pay for the shipment of it online (costs $7 to ship one box).
Take time to do this. Click on this link: HOW TO PACK A SHOE BOX to get instructions.
God is so good to us. Let's share His goodness and His love.
