Go where you need to go to look up and see Jesus.
Go where you need to go to remember what you're passionate about.
I love this quote from Fabienne Frederickson. She says, "The things you are passionate about are not random. They are your calling."
I know nothing else about Frederickson but that quote is perfect.
We just got done with a big couple of weeks (and it continues). My son graduated and then we had a community memorial service and dinner Monday we had to plan. Then, my husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary by spending the night in a local hotel (which was fabulous). Plus today I need to make three pies for a fundraiser tomorrow (I am quite excited about my pies -- I've been practicing. I now know how to make lovely beautiful meringue so I'm bringing three cream pies -- raisin cream always goes high in local dessert auctions).
So, with all the activity I've gotten a bit off track emotionally, but never fear because God is near!
I wanted to release our horses into our pasture but first there was one area that needed to be fixed.
So I took some wire and a rope and pliers and went to fixing. My job isn't pretty but it will work.
Along the way I found some wonderful things, beautiful incredible gifts straight from God . . .
"I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From whence shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2
