"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people."
Doesn't that describe today (and I will say the font size is all messed up, but we will go with it as is)?
So, as I was driving today to Dupree, I thought of the huge tractors and how much fuel it takes to run them. If prices continue to rise, I could see farmers leaving them in the field when they run out of diesel as the prices get crazy as they surely will keep rising (This is divine judgment on our country. I know this is true). Farmers won't be able to afford to plow the fields.
And then, maybe people will move into the abandoned tractors. Some of them are mighty spacious. They would be called Tractor Houses.
And maybe eventually fuel prices will be so high no one can drive anywhere except maybe once a week for church and for a trip to the store. Horses will again prove their worth.
I don't know the future, but there is plenty of people who seem to want to destroy this country. Will revival come or will we be as stubborn as ever? The ball is in our court. May we humble ourselves and seek Almighty God.
