A lot of social media has reverted people back to a childish kind of perspective on stuff. If you fall into the social media trap you might find yourself posting pictures and writing things and liking things and sharing things in hopes of gaining people's approval of you and your life. This is too much pressure. This is not the way life is supposed to be.
I see it in one of my kids. This child does things to get noticed and approval. And when this child doesn't get the popularity this child craves, disappointment and despair and confusion can well up inside this child. In this situation a person will start to question his self-worth, his importance. Some adults do the same thing with their social media posts.
We should be past this kind of behavior because we don't need people's approval. We just need to see to please God -- not because we earn his approval but because he loves us so much.
