Job said in Job 13:15, "Though He slay me, I will hope in Him."
Though you feel ______________________, God is there.
Though ___________, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
What's your Though Statement today?
Couple it with "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
My Though Statement today is a long one"
Though my brain feels scattered and kind of lost and though my three helpers won't be present at the Blunt Bible Club today, God will be there and do great things!
When we have a Though Statement we see what is around us but we also know that isn't what dictates what is really going on. When we have a Though Statement we acknowledge God is God and nothing else matters.
"And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." Colossians 1:17
I love that verse! All things hold together in Jesus! That includes you, your life, my life, my future, your future, our children's futures. It includes this little blue ball we all live on. It includes absolutely everything.
So when you say your Though Statement, you can have this verse answer it.
Though _______________________________, in Him all things hold together.
This is a way of resting in Christ, a way of living in Him.
"Abide in Me," He says in John 15.
"learn from Me," He says in Matthew 11:29.
That is what the Though Statement is all about. Try it!
